ETIAS authorization is a pre-issued digital travel permit, allowing you to visit the EU/Schengen Area countries (except Ireland) unlimitedly for three years for short-term purposes, like leisure, business, or medical.
Please note that you cannot transfer your ETIAS visa waiver between the travel documents since they are electronically connected to your biometric passport’s chip. You must re-apply for both if your passport expires before your ETIAS authorization.

Covid-19 Notice
After two years of the Covid-19 Pandemic, the EU finally voted to revoke all the travel restrictions for visitors traveling to Europe from outside the Schengen Area.
As of December 12, 2022, Australian citizens won’t need to show an EU digital certificate or Vaccination Card at the EU border upon arrival.

How Long Can I Stay in Europe with ETIAS?
ETIAS enables you to stay in Europe for up to 90 days every 180 days.
If you plan to stay in Europe for more than that, you must apply for a national visa (Type D).
Can I Work in Europe with ETIAS?
No. ETIAS only allows you to visit Europe for short-term purposes, like leisure, business, or medical.
Can I Study in Europe with ETIAS?
No. If you plan to move to Europe for study purposes, you’ll need a study visa for your selected country.
